This commercial is a student project created for my video class taken at Full Sail University for the UE Roll- a Bluetooth speaker made by Ultimate Ears. The specifications were to make a 30 second commercial or PSA that included sound effects, a voice over, a hashtag, and music. I used my Canon 5D Mark III to shoot the commercial. My production team was absolutely amazing, and everyone gave it their all on shoot day!
I chose to create a laid back feel for my commercial, while delivering a message of a fun time using this speaker in daily adventures. For the color correction, I went for an overall washed-out look, with some saturated key colors to add emphasis on the orange and red colors. The durability of the UE Roll is demonstrated in the different settings and activities that the users interact in. This shows that music can be taken everywhere with this speaker without a worry in the world!
Additionally, we had freedom to create credits for our commercial with a different theme from the original video, so I experimented with long exposure, shot on my GoPro Hero 4 Black. Thanks to everyone who helped on the making of this video!
