FIA Formula E

I worked with VCCP London and FIA Formula E Racing to develop the advertising collateral for the 2015 - 2016 FIA Formula E racing season featuring 11 races in 10 countries. This exciting job is still in production and once completed will consist of ten race location images and twenty driver illustrations. Watch this page for updates.

Travelling the world, the Formula E circuit travels from Beijing China - Putrajaya Malaysia - Punta Del Este, Uruguay - Buenos Aires, Argentina - Mexico City, Mexico - Long Beach, U.S.A - Paris, France - Berlin, Germany - Moscow, Russia - London, UK. The cars, unlike Formula One cars are electricity powered and quiet, and the tracks run through major cities instead of on a designated race track, making for thrilling city viewing.

When working on this project we were directly inspired by the location, with each Illustration either being based around a landmark or cultural iconography. The imagery appears on mass throughout promotion and can be found across numerous outputs from football field sized LED billboards, the side of bicycles, presentation screens, ticketing ...basically anything you could imagine we're on it! More photos coming soon
SWUSP Beijing ePrix - 24th October 2015

"Thunder in Beijing" was the title, and we were inspired by tradition, dragons, and of course a crash! The first and only image to contain a crash, and we are happy they got it in.
Y Capital Management Putrajaya ePrix - 7th November 2015

"The Electric Garden" for the beautiful garden city featuring a pinball-esque garden design, speeding Malaysian kites and CMYK pushing neon greens.
Julius Baer Punta del Este ePrix - 19th December 2015

"Power in Paradise" weaving through the palm of recognised La Mano (the hand) a sculpture by Chilean artist Mario Irarrazabal. Seen below as featured on screen, in presentations, throughout races and on online coverage
Buenos Aires ePrix - 6th February 2016

"Lightning Bites" in Buenos Aires featuring the Puente de la Mujer bridge and an Argentine puma. One of our favourites of the series so far.
