Since around 2009 I have been taking commissions to handpaint custom shoes and what started as a small personal project became pretty popular. This particular commission was based off of the cartoon "Adventure Time" and involved the illustration of the customer's favorite characters. These were created using acrylic paint and finished with a flexible clear coat.
