Hi! I'd like to share one of my favorite projects I did during my internship at Wooki Colectivo Creativo(Creative Hub at Costa Rica). First, I was asked to make a new proposal for a logo that had been declined after a few propositions. So I went on a mission to find the true colors for the making of the logo, so I dove into the colors of nature between fruits and vegetables and found some real inspiration for the face of ViDA Juice. After I defined the main colors for the project, and asked for some tips along with my fellow co-workers, I went on a similar quest looking for an exuberant kind of text, and got some fresh ideas. After a few days of scrolling down pages and looking at awesome typos and letterings, I decided to sketch it up and make a my own version.
I made this logo based on energy and movement. So we tried a dynamic way to showcase the vision of ViDA Juice from a new perspective. By this mean, I made a playful & cushioned lettering and decided to add the slogan on the bottom. Protecting the logo by giving it a surrounding space.
Healthy people enjoy feeling active and clean; that's why we chose a vibrant color like this red tone. This color reveals an enthusiastic attitude towards life. Being a color this lit, shows that ViDA Juice can stimulate your organism for a positive and honest direction to life. Besides this electrifying tone, we chose some color variations in order to accomodate the logo to different aplications. Now this cold-pressed juice has a total new identity that will make you feel more than alive once you have absorbed it into your system.
These were the first sketches made after absorbing the idea of a lettering-like logo. Since we decided to make a proactive logo, we started out by sketching textures and flowing letters, we added serifs to both ends and decided to go through with it. These were some of the starting ideas.
After defining the type of lettering, I decided to mix it up, to see what came up, I tried different elements and organised it in different ways. I also tried accommodating the letter ‘’i” with a little bit more flowness, until the final version was completed.
The making of this logo was a lot of fun during my internship at Wooki Colectivo Creativo in Costa Rica. I learned a lot during this opportunity and had a blast making a new proposal from scratch. I hope you like it as much as I did making it.
