MBTA fare passes, "Charlie Cards" or "Charlie Tickets," as they are colloquially known in the Boston area, are stodgy and boring. These, hopefully, are less boring.

The general consensus between my friends and I were that sports team-themed Charlie Cards would be the most popular and most "accessible" and consumer-friendly route, so my work began from there. Using mostly team colors and creating a new look for good ol' "Charlie on the MTA," I created new Charlie Cards that would conceivably be sold by the MBTA for a premium price, say an extra dollar or so more, and the proceeds would be split between the T, who have been suffering an apparently revenue drain in the past few years, and any charities the proposed teams support (ie, The Jimmy Fund for the Red Sox and so on).

I incorporated smaller details such as a detail of the T-system map, highlighting the stops where the teams' respective parks and stadiums were (the Fenway Park stop, North Station for the Garden and so forth).

I expanded on the idea of the cards by working on some banner ads showcasing the new look for Charlie, plus some ideas on some expandable "rollover" banner ads which would take over a certain page once you ran your mouse over them.
