This storage box in wood and metal can be disassembled and assembled by hand.
The box is a play with scale where raw, architectural elements meet fine woodwork -focusing on textural and material qualities.
In form, we wanted to emphasise the contrast between the interior and exterior, well as the transitions between different components.
On the outside the box has many offsets and details while the inner part is rounded out in all corners and edges.
The different parts of the box are only held together with metal dowels and four brackets in black-galvanised steel.
