Instanbul Park was official opened 2005 and hosted FIA Formula 1 races from 2005 – 2011.
As well as Formula 1 the track has hosted the FIA WTCC, DTM, Le Mans Series and FIA European Truck Racing Championship.This year will see the the first ever World RX event take place at the circuit.  
The Joker Lap is located at T3 (turn three).
