The animation is based on my undergraduate thesis about the female sexual scripting in Lebanese society. Creating an analogy between the system of control in Lebanese society and the computer system, the animation follows a girl unknowingly trapped in a computer screen that resembles the real world she lives in. Using the green-screening technique, the model was photographed in stop-motion and then placed in the collage backgrounds in After Effects. The computer was simulated using consecutive print-screens and motion-captures of the screen. Interactions between the character and the backgrounds, as well as the cursor motion, were animated frame-by-frame in After Effects.
