29 million people in the US have diabetes. And about 45 percent of them will get diabetic eye disease, which can lead to a severe vision loss, or even blindness. But a lot of people with diabetes have no idea this danger exists—until it sneaks up on them. And by then, it’s too late.
Regeneron wanted to warn patients about the dangers diabetes presents to their vision and the importance of an annual dilated eye exam. So we created up an unbranded awareness campaign that told patients to LOOK OUT! for the dangers of diabetic eye disease, and get their eyes examined.
The Sneak snuck into print and banner ads, brochures, YouTube videos, in-office and convention materials, and radio, driving patients to learn more at DiabetesSightRisk.com, an informative, engaging site where patients could see the impact of diabetic eye disease—before the Sneak got to them.
