A third person action adventure game aimed at 8-12 yr olds featuring extensive character customisation options and comprehensive item upgrading systems.
I was responsible for adapting the LEGO® Hero Factory characters and creatures to optimised game-ready versions, which involved low poly-modelling, texture atlasing, rigging, editing and implementing motion capture data to bare skeletons, assembling characters and setting variables via an xml system, lots of coffee and the odd late night takeaway.
I also acted as Audio director; sourcing, editing and implementing music and sfx via xml, event keys and triggers.
The web game achieved 4,428,831 sessions within 10 weeks, saw 232,681 mobile installs within two weeks, and won two New Media Age Awards in 2012.
