This personal illustration started in 2009 with the first use of the sparrow. Over the next three years I would explore the possibilities of the bird and its surroundings. Culminating in the latest possibility of an urban setting with a bioengineered bird resting on an old 80's boom box. An image of a symbiotic relationship between the past and the future, residing here in the present.
