These paintings were made for JW Anderson in anticipation of the SS16 women's collection runway show. The theme of the collection is "an odyssey oscillating between galactic Olympics and empowered femininity." Each piece was intended to depict a woman in a different but continuous atmosphere, so I used varying background shades and flower designs to bring them together, and to complement the bold shapes and monochromatic prints in the collection.
