This was a project in which i worked on developing a website and promotional video for the KZN Dance Academy. I worked together with copy writer Megan Robert to develop a style and concept with which to work.

The company wanted the website to have minimal copy and to rather set a mood. I created a simple single page scrolling website with powerful imagery. This simple yet bold imagery was then used to develop the concept for the video.

The video is focussed on the shadows of the dancing figures rather than the dancers themselves. The shadows were intended to create a faceless figure with which viewers could apply themselves to. This concept was meant to achieve a drive in the audience to participate in dance, or simply to share the passion of the dancer. The video was used to advertise an event in which the dancers would be participating.
