Some women are preoccupied with makeup and socially constructed ideals of beauty. 

In an attempt to look at lipstick from a different perspective, I present Alternative Lipstick.

In working on this photo series, I started with lipstick and thought about its use and the different things you can actually do with it, for the sake of experimenting with and challenging its straightforward raison d'être.
