(2014, Processing, unpublished sketch) An experiment in reworking the classic spherical harmonics algorithms, famous for producing elegant undulating mesh geometries. As a standard math form, any output from it is essentially a found object, reproducible by any coder.

This sketch reworks the algo implementation to produce a result that goes beyond math cliche. 3D geometry is flattened, recolored and reduced to abstract it further.
