I created Wedding Stationery for a Calligraphy course. The aim of the course was to take inspirtion from a script and create your own script. I chose to take inspiration from 'Copperplate' and 'Octavia'.
I chose a very happy colour ' Salmon Pink' to be exact and added gateway sheet on top which contained the text. I chose to print out some text and define the important words with hand created calligraphy.
The aim was to give it a romantic yet bold feel.
I didn't want to add any imagery to the card because I wanted to emphasis on the handmade calligraphy I created.
I created an envelope out of gateway sheet to go along with the theme and to also give it a cool effect when the invitation is inside.
I experimented with another colour and paper.
