San Francisco Marathon: "26.2 Miles of Progress"

The San Francisco Marathon
"26.2 Miles of Progress" Campaign
Our friends at The San Francisco Marathon needed a way to attract runners from across the country to run across our iconic city. One of the hardest marathons in the country, runners journey from all over to tackle the city's famous hills, and for the chance to run across the Golden Gate bridge.

The challenge was to sell San Francisco as a running destination, worthy of the travel expense to participate and to encourage participation in the training program.

Our solution was to find the unique thread for all the different types of people that live here and run here, with a uniquely San Francisco twist. We focused on the idea of Progress: that whether it be the Environment, Food Habits, Technology or Politics, San Franciscans revere the idea of moving forward.
