During the 2015 summer I had to create from zero an interesting regatta project and concept for the J Class boats and for the Ibiza Government.

I plan to:
1º Return the classic spirit of Ibiza. These days were people from around the world come to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the island.
2º Give a reason to the J’s. Have the challenge to refound year by year this spirit.
3º Generate an opportunity to the government whit no investment. Create cultural activities for their citizens, use again monuments like the watch tower and involve the cosmopolite people from Ibiza: artisans, beer makers, automotive classic clubs and families.
The White Island

STORY:
Up in the tower, it is Juan Marì's turn to be on lookout. Ibiza has become a centre, not only for merchants from Africa, England and France, but for pirates too.
For lunch, Juan has some dried meat and stale bread. Before sinking his teeth into his lunch he takes one last look and says “Collons, it looks like Turks!”
But he isn’t sure. He keeps an eye on the boat and waits to see what it does when it passes Hangman Island. Only last week they captured some pirates and hanged them there to send a message to potential ill-doers.
The boat passes the outer island without wavering. Juan hurries to light the fire on top of the tower. They are Turks, and they don’t come with good intentions.
On the other side of the island, the bells of Santa María cathedral ring out, thanks to the fire that Juan has lit.
Women and children hurry into the church and the island’s corsairs check their sabres and sails.
Today, we fight to protect Ibiza and defend The White Isla.
For centuries of travellers from England, Portugal, France, Africa and Turkey, have come from the sea to Ibiza. Now millions of people from around the world come to enjoy the spirit of The White Island and it's surrounding waters. Whatever this spirit is made off, the sea is an undeniable catalyst.
But not everybody understands these traditions, and therein lies the challenge: to fight for, defend and preserve this spirit. And it is only logical that this defence should take place on the sea.
We want to preserve this history, to do want we do best which is sailing. We have a romantic notion to protect the spirit of the white isle, the island that throughout its history has been the stage for somany epic stories.
