This is the new Humane Society of Utah website that I designed and developed.  

 

Our prime motivations in the redesign were to: make the site feel fresher and easier to use, give the site a mobile presence (mobile first), make sure that animals are the ever present focus of the site.

 

I wanted to try and update the feel to match their beautiful world-famous photography, as well as have animals always visible.  I ended up incorporating translucent photos of some of their animals so that no matter where you are in the site, animals are always there.

 

There are some fixes and changes that I would like to do to the site, but I'm very excited to present the initial design and build.  This project has meant the world to me, and I've put all of my heart and soul and sweat into it :)
