Lettering duties for The Unique comic book
Story and artwork by Adam Withers and Comfort Love
Working with two of my very talented college friends, Adam Withers and Comfort Love, I was asked to letter their self published comic book called The Uniques. A huge comic fan myself, I couldn't wait to get started on this project. Given a final digital illustration and scripted story line to work from, I found this project very rewarding and challenging. Creating the onomatopoeia (sound effects) was the most daunting as it had to convey the right sound and visual impact. Also, placement of word balloons was crucial as not to cover the artwork.
