The purpose of this project was to select a photo of an animal and create it as a sports logo with steps that included a rough sketch, a revised sketch, a color version, and the logo on certain pieces . This first picture is a photo of an armadillo 

This is the first sketch for my sports logo where I created basic lines to outline the photo of the armadillo.

My next step was to create a refine sketch of the logo where I used the pen to fill in the basic lines with a thicker stroke

My last step was to use the original sketch and fill in with color and use a lighter color to bring out the highlights. Also along with the color I came up with a name for the sports logo.

After the logo was created I chose the sport basketball because an armadillo is similar to a basketball, and placed it on a few things to see how the logo looks. I chose to place the logo on a basketball, a jersey, and a basketball court. 

These are the colors that were used for this logo.
