Fast Culture
The contemporary youth was born into a world where the term “velocity” is constantly redefined by the technological advance. The lifestyle acceleration that is imminent to our generation creates a culture where contents scatter, multiply and overlap in a web so wide that it gets hard to recognise the connections.
There arises a youth that, not marching but running, surfs it’s natural environment – the World Wide Web - between all sort of contents. We are recognised by what becomes “viral”, but even we forget that, more than that, our means allows us to access the largest information source ever.
This project intended to break the stereotypes that are imposed to our generation and that we impose to ourselves, because “fast” isn’t “low”, and to show that our culture is more than what scratches the surface.
"Is this your generation's portrait?"
teaser - first intervention
"Not everything is superficial"
postcards - second intervention
"You have all the dots. Can you connect them?"
