As part of my MA project, I created a Twitter account, which automatically extracts, scrambles and reposts #OccupyGezi Tweets.
During my research on social media, I acknowledged its dependence on (repetitive use of) keywords. Instead of endorsing authentic content, the medium acknowledges metadata, such as hashtags, which helps structure networks. This forms a similar language to protest slogans.
