Collage is one of my favorite art forms. I’m a fan of artists like Peter Blake and Richard Hamilton. They seem to build engaging worlds from unrelated objects, using scraps of found objects and paper ephemera.

 

In my commercial work, I use collage to help clients who are apprehensive about using visual metaphors they’re not familiar with. Often clients want to see the visual tropes of their industry in design. Collage allows me the space to create engaging and fun images that aren’t dragged down by cliché.
