First part of series of sketches 'Some people do siesa, I have insomia', that I created during my last travel with Gallery on Wheels project: https://www.facebook.com/GalleryOnWheels mainly in France and Spain.
Siesta is very strongly rooted activity in all Mediterranean countries. Sleep seams to be the best way to deal with a very high temperatures during the day and to gather energy for very active night life. I found it very interesting, especially due to my sleeping problems that doesn't allow me to enjoy this daily nap, instead I enjoy drawing sleeping people and imaging they siesta dreams...
