The Nebraska Medical Association advocates for the medical profession and its individual members. The NMA recently conducted consumer research and discovered Nebraska healthcare consumers were confused about the education and medical credentials various medical professionals were required to have to practice and the benefits it provided their healthcare. The nurse practitioner can provide many healthcare solutions consumers are looking for but it is important consumers understand the level of knowledge and training physicians bring to their care. This is just one example consumers were confused about.

 

The Nebraska Medical Association approached us to develop a solution that wasn't typical for healthcare and would more consumer friendly in its approach. Because the NMA never communicates to the general consumer their brand wasn't recognizable and wasn't necessarily approachable. This allowed us to develop an illustrated approach with characters that represented each profession.
