Black Heart Coffee offers great quality and taste in small bags that can be brewed much like tea, thus rendering a much more tasteful cup than instant, and an easier way of brewing when outside of one’s own kitchen.
The name makes a reference to the strong taste of the original blends, while the anatomically correct heart intends to make a statement on winning everyone’s over instant coffee.
Given it is an already unusual way to make coffee, the pyramid-shaped package is meant to break with the usual 6-sided pattern on most packaging. It can be stacked, and would be produced in thick Kraft paper and printed with vegetable inks for a matte effect, all of this to make the package biodegradable and easy to recycle.
Each package would be originally contained in thin, biodegradeable cellophane to retain aroma while it finds a way to office kitchenettes, and hotel rooms where it would be easier to brew that perfect cup of coffee without additional filters, coffee-makers or presses, but keeping the great taste that instant coffee just doesn’t provide.
