Considering that fonts are usually designed to make words easy to understand, this new font doesn't have to be readable playing with optical illusions. The geometry design behind the Impossible font was based on the famous impossible triangle or "Penrose triangle", designed to be used most of time as drop cap or alone in a layout to get something graphic easely.
