En-Dulce
Bakery and Coffeeshop | Corporate Identity

"En-Dulce" is an artisan bakery and coffeeshop based in the historic downton of Quito, Ecuador. The business goal is to refine the experience through high standard products, powerful production insight and community responsability within a traditional and national cuisine approach. Top notch chocolate, bread, coffee and traditional desserts are a few of the products this heartwarming place has to offer, ones you can actually see being produced in the moment.

The overall identity concept is based on legend storytellings from the capital. The mistique and traditionalism of the city´s architecture (present in this stories) is portrayed on the construction of the logo and the use of the visual resouces, as a mean to keep the brand interesting and forever open for a good -cup of coffee- talk. The logo recalls the "Gallito de la Catedral" legend as a recognizable icon of the city´s folklore, where is not only bound to architecture but moral, cultural and social history of Quito. Along with a warm and deep selection of colors, this is a place where a long talk is the beginning of true time traveling.

Chocolate, as a main interest of the owners expertise, is reinforced in the bottom of the logo conveying the relevance of Ecuadorian cacao.

Victorian style illustration is also used to condense a vintage feel to the stories being told through the images.
