This lamp was inspired by the Kodak by the Kodak Brownie Holiday camera from the 1950´s. The main idea of the lamp is to simulate the flash of the vintage camera by placing light in the reflector. The material used was plywood for the body, a vintage reflector and it has a natural finish which highlights the woods natural grain and creates a beautiful contrast between the dark edges and the pale faces of the wood being achieved by a laser cutting process. The approach of this design is to merge the vintage element & a modern look resulting in a new trend accessory.
