While growing up, ramen noodle soup with custom ingredients prepared by my grandparents for me after school was something I always looked forward to. From childhood to college life, I began to see how universal a meal these packs of dry noodles are on American culture and my own. I have dissected the act of consuming Ramen noodles, through “taxidermic” ingredients, visual studies of interiors and exteriors, and audio anecdotes of other Ramen noodle “users” like myself.
