Brillo - Lantern / Flashlight

Lantern or Flashlight?
The flashlight design is very efficient when using it for events such as lighting up a path or fixing the sink drain. The lantern spreads the light rather than concentrating it on one spot, which makes the light less dependent on where the user is pointing it. The lantern is more ideal to use when there are multiple people involved or when the user want it to work as a traditional lamp.

Brillo
The Brillo flashlight has a built in function which makes it easy for the user to switch between lantern mode and spotlight mode.  Brillo has a 360 degrees led light. In the spotlight mode the parabolic shaped reflector is directing the LED light in to one direction. To switch to lantern mode the user can simply pull up the reflector revealing the LED in every angle.

Aside from the two modes the user can also change the intensity of the light by holding the power button which makes the brightness loop from high to low until released. The product is recharged by using a USB-charger.  Using it for a long period of time Brillo can be connected to a laptop or a power bank which can come in handy when camping or electrical breakdowns.

The keywords for the design were clean, simple and fun.  Flashlight design is often connected with hardware tools, which was not this projects goal. The design is made to match other electronic products which can be found in a modern day travel.
