In this interactive installation we relate the myth of Sisyphus with how participants approach the installation. When people blow or shout at the microphone, the video progresses, but inactivity causes it to roll back to the beginning, just like Sisyphus' rock.
This installation was a joint effort with Carlos Sena Caires, Jorge Cardoso and Pedro Serrano. Each of us had a different video and subtle different ways of treating microphone input.
THE INSTALLATION
The installation. Poster by Pedro Serrano.
Participants trying their best to climb the mountain. When they reach the top, a new video starts, just as if the rock had fallen down again.
I also made a short video advertising the exhibition.
