    If there’s one thing Rocky Mountain Dealerships' customers can be certain of, it’s uncertainty. From double dip recessions, to those “once in a lifetime” storms, there is a lot that’s beyond the control of the farmers and the construction workforce. When it comes to downed equipment, it’s one more thing they can’t control. That’s why ensuring that their equipment is always up and running is essential to their livelihood and profitability. Using Rocky’s new brand positioning “predictable when everything else is isn’t” as our foundation, we developed their new brand identity around the shield, a symbol of strength and protection. It was essential that the new brand resonate with both farmers and construction works alike. This was achieved by creating two simple visual elements to represent each industry. The diagonal lines are symbolic of the rows of crops associated with farming, while the specs are a symbol for concrete–the foundation of any great building–found in construction elevation drawings.
