Roam is a Wellington-based peer to peer car sharing service. When creating the branding, I wanted to reflect the service's cutting edge technology and intuitiveness. Furthermore, one of the biggest concerns potential customers had regarding the service was how secure it was. I've sought to address this concern through the use of Code Pro, a dominating sans-serif with bold lines, as well as a predominantly calm, blue color scheme. I have alluded to the technological aspect of the service with the iconic Google maps pin, edited to appear as a compass within the O. This compass graphic can also be used in places where a minimized version of the logo is required, such as an App icon.
