I made this graphic design project for a publisher in Brazil called Africa.com.
The volume is based on the biography and work of the Brazilian artist Tarsila do Amaral, which is considered to be one of the leading Latin American modernist artists.
The book’s illustrations about the painter’s biography consists on caricatures of several Brazilian famous figures
from Modern Art Week in 1922 and where beautifully made by illustrator Rafael Pita.
The Capital letters where handmade and vectorized to best fit the modernistic scene.
