This is a logo I designed for a company my brother is working to start up. My brother has always held an interest in marine biology, especially sharks. The Zambezi river is the 4th longest river in Africa. Apparently, the bull shark is sometimes called the Zambezi shark in South Africa, after the river, as it's one of the places that bull sharks are most known to swim in fresh water. As this is a somewhat specific piece of information, I wanted to make sure that I visually communicated it clearly within the logo. Anyway, there are two versions, one in black and white and one in color, with a stroke. I used an aerial photo of a stretch of the Zambezi river as my "guideline" to create a vector image, and then added the shark fin. Not a whole lot to say about this one, but it was fun to make!

Below are some close up detail photos of the printed designs. The worn overlay didn't translate particularly well to print, but I'm still happy with the results!
