This 90 page book showcases a small bit of the amazing work that is created at Pentagram. Bound by hand with a slipcase to match the natural white paper inside. The logo on the cover is laser cut and offers a nice contrast to the toothy black paper I used for the cover. 

It can be rather challenging to show the process work that goes into book design, since most of the work looks relatively similar and is of course in printed form. Most of the value of a book is in the pacing, how one spread effects the next. Drawing is essential to me and I always do some sort of a visual outline.

Since there are so many different design areas at Pentagram, and I knew I wanted to keep the book smallish, I decided to narrow down to 5 categories.
