The major inspiration for this project came from the “Art Film” video by the korean-pop group f(x). Min Hee Jin, who was the art director of the video stated that she was trying to create a ‘free, creative feel’ to the art film. The central concept would be a so-called ‘high teen romance’, like “one of those old films that never became huge hits but I enjoyed anyway.” and that was exactly what I wanted my outcome video to be. As a designer, I always think it’s essential to be able to see the beauty in everything. My major purpose was not to make a video carrying a meaningful story behind it; but to merely provide a fun and exciting watching experience, a different point of view on ordinary/everyday objects. I enjoyed my time working on it, and I hope people would enjoy watching it :).
