The Brief
In 2012, Time of India along with Kyoorius included another category for Young Lions Contest. Design Category. Brief was to redesign Laadli's logo (NGO that works for Women). They wanted to create a logo which showed "gender equality" but the name remained the same.
Creative
We made a logo which looked like a moustache and also as pony tails of a young girl. This distruptive logo was simple yest strong. Most people saw the moustache first and that was the idea. Since the name was very feminine, we wanted a very strong masculin visual. Hence the logo stood out from all the entries and got us our ticket and entry in the Cannes Lions Festival to represent India.
