Dragon’s Horde is a small comic book,trading card game and hobbyist shop located in Stone Mountain Georgia. The target audience are young to middle aged African American males of the surrounding area. Theconcept behind this branding system was to turn the store into something of aclub where fans of various comic series and games could go to purchase exchangeand enjoy these products. The logo was designed to be something of a coat ofarms for the conceptual club. The lines between reality and a more illustratedworld are narrowed with the collateral concepts. The colors red and yellow were chosen since they are historically the most used two colors in comic books. They also are the color of fire which references the dragon. When the two bright colors are combined, it is reminiscent of cartoons, comics and popular illustration.
