The pedestrian underpasses around the Elephant & Castle roundabout are out-dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. In this project I proposed plans for the environment graphic design inside the underpass tunnels. Below are models of each of the five tunnels, recovered with plain concrete and decorated with designs I devised from a grid system.
