Process: I painted the illustration board with grayed gesso. Then penciled in the details using a soft lead pencil. Once done, i spray-fixed the drawing. Next, I very slightly sprayed the board with spray mount - just a misting. This makes the board slightly tacky. I placed a large piece of tracing paper over the drawing (which I use instead of Frisket film.) With an Xacto knife, I cut ou the large areas and airbrush the diluted acrylic paint - beginning with the background first. I add details with Prismacolor pencils and detail brush work.
