Wayne Enterprises // Corporate Identity Redesign
 
A redesign of Wayne Enterprises' visual identity keeping in mind the history, philosophy, vision and sub-brands among other factors. Being a huge fan of the 'Dark Knight Trilogy' I naturally had my heart in this project. 
 
Wayne Ent. is a fictional company appearing in the Batman universe. The company is owned by American billionaire Bruce Wayne(Batman) and run by Lucius Fox. Based in Gotham City, the company was founded in the 17th century. It has grown to become one of the world’s top ten multinational conglomerates. Today, Wayne Enterprises continues to achieve excellence across a wide range of industry sectors and markets, employing some 170,000 people in 170 countries. The current CEO and Chairman, Bruce Wayne, is a keen modernizer and continues to grow the business in the financial sector and in high-end technologies.

Visual keys: Metal, Black & White, Power, Batman
 
Nomenclature: Having the suffix 'enterprises' is an obsolete trend, and was hence dropped.
The name WAYNE by itself is more accomodating for the brands it encompasses.

Tagline: Focuses on the core values of Wayne: Unprecedented technological advancements,
and Caring for its citizens above all else.
Visual Identity: The identity is a Counter-form, where the inner structure forms the glyph 'W' and the outer structure resembles an electric bolt. The bolt adds to the dynamism of the design. A hand-crafted symbol & logotype have been created, for varying purposes.
 
 
Grid: The type has been designed on a Square grid with divisions in half. (quarter for the E)
Print: In keeping with the spirit of the corporation, hot-foil printing was chosen as an appropriate technique. It reflects upon the nature of their business, & their stature.
Corporate Calendar: Strategy // Each month advertises a unique brand under the WAYNE conglomerate. Every illustration is appropriate to its respective brand, encompassing the calendar within its design.
