This project has been designed for the collective exhibition Promenades Domestiques (lit. Domestic Walks) at the Church of Saint-Pierre in Firminy, France.
Le Corbusier designed the Firminy Vert neighborhood like a garden interspersed with his constructions. The Maison de la Culture, the UnitĆ© d'habitation and the Church of Saint-Pierre punctuate a landscape mainly constituted with green areas. Three concrete shapes representing those three buildings areĀ assembled to create a garden dwarf derived from the vocabulary of Le Corbusier. Fifty copies of these dwarfs invade the church hight steps, which become for them a new garden terrace, a microcosm at their scale.
