Bonnie Wong's profile

Playground - A HK Map

Growing up in Hong Kong for years, Bonnie has been observing the city closely and witnessed how the city changed in both postive and negative ways.

Map is one of Bonnie’s most interested themes in illustration. This is not an ordinary map, it is not imformative. This is a personal map that reflects how the illustrator sees her home. She uses a limited color palette, simple line works and innocent, symbollic graphics that are child-like and cute to comment on the city in different aspects. The work aims at inviting the audience to join the her ‘Hong Kong journey’ and rethink on issues and values we find in Hong Kong.
