The Land Use and Environment Group (LUEG) is comprised of seven distinct departments, collectively called TeamLUEG.
Functions range from building and maintaining county infrastructure to protecting our environment and public health. They test the water quality at beaches and waterways, maintain and improve air quality, oversee more than 100 parks, campgrounds and preserves. TeamLUEG also insures that roadways are safe, buildings are constructed to code, restaurants are handling and storing food properly, and store scanners and gas pumps are accurate.
