3D Object modelling: Morpheus Tablet

3D Object Modelling: Morpheus Tablet
The Morpheus was a hypothetical tablet that was designed by my group for the User Interaction Design module. It aims to give artists the feel and pressure sensitiveness of a drawing tablet while still retaining its portability. Unique features includes a screen made of 'Smart Glass' which transparency could be adjusted(thereby allowing tracing to be done), a powerful drawing Program, a second pen-touch screen for usability purposes, and shortcut keys.

In addition to the design document, a 3D Render done wholly in Maya was created to visualize the prototype of this product.
Extra nibs for the stylus are stored within a cap of the stylus.
A charger pad was also conceptualised for the ease of charging - The User would just have to place the tablet on the pad, and using the the principle of inductive charging; the usage of an electromagnetic field generated by two coils, one in the charging pad and the other in the tablet, allows the transferring of energy wirelessly.
