Legend of Zelda: Timeline

This website is inspired by the official Timeline of The Legend of Zelda video game series by Nintendo. This site cotains informations from the fan site Zelda Wiki. This website was made before the release of 2013 A Link Between Worlds for the Nintendo 3DS, which is a follow up to 1992 Super Nintendo title, A Link to the Past in the Hero's Defeat timeline. Also before the release of 2015 Tri Force Heroes (3DS) and the announcement of the main colnsole title for the Nintendo Wii U. There were also some remakes and spin-off titles that released after this site was made.
The home page of the site cotains all of the Zelda titles by release date until the 2011 title, Skyward Sword. The style arrangement of the games are based in the style of the games. The navigation links go to a specific timeline era in the series, which are; The Begining, Hero's Defeat, Child Timeline, Adult Timeline, and History of The Legend of Zelda. In each timeline era page, it tells the plot of the games and the role of the main characters, Link and Princess Zelda, do in each game.
The first part of the timeline, The Begining, talks about the legend of the Triforce gods and the hero of time. The games featured in this timeline are; Skyward Sword, The Minish Cap, Four Swords, and Ocarina of Time.
The second page, Hero's Defeat, taking place after/during Ocarina of Time, which is one of the split timeline of the series. The point is that if Link, the hero of time, was defeated by Ganon during the final battle, Ganon would take the Triforce from Link and Zelda, then be sealed away in a sacred realm by seven sages. The games featured are; A Link to the Past, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Link's Awakening, The Legend of Zelda, and The Adventure of Link.
The third page, the Child Timeline, takes place after Ocarina of Time, where Link defeats Ganon and Princess Zelda changing Link back as a Child to tell young Zelda about the future, preventing Ganon's reign. The games featured are; Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess and Four Swords Adventures.
The last timline era page, Adult Timeline, takes place right after Ocarina of Time, where Zelda changes Link back as a child, which cases Hyrule to have no hero to save them from Ganon's return and caused the kingdom to flood itself, sealed away until a new hero could save the kingdom. The games featured are; The Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks.
The very last page of the website, The History of The Legend of Zelda, talks about the development of the sereis by Shigeru Miyamoto. The game series inspired by Mr. Miyamoto's wondering in caves in japan when he was young. This page also cotains more Zelda titles such as the CD-i games, Crossover titles, and spin-off games. It also has a brief description of a new title in the works from 2011 for the Nintendo 3DS, which is revealed as A Link Between Worlds, sequel title to A Link to the Past from 1992 for the Super Nintendo.
