Eskimal was my graduation film from the Faculty of Arts and Design at UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) in 2008. It was produced with the support of TVUNAM and it won the National Post Production Award IMCINE / CONACULTA (Mexican Film Institute).
 
Eskimal has won several international awards such as Best Animated Short at Sydney Latin American Film Festival (Australia 2012) and Best Animated Short at Festival de Cine Latinoamericano y Caribeñi Margarita (Venezuela 2012). It also has been screened at more that 100 film festivals world wide, like Toronto Kids International Film Festival (Canada), Habana International Film Festival (Cuba) and Festival Intenational du Film D´environnement (Paris).
